Zombies! Reanimated cannibalistic cadavers or dark magic henchman?

Presented by: Stephen Poe

Zombies prior to George Romero’s 1968 “The Day of the Dead” were very, very different than the post-Romero reboot into reanimated cannibalistic cadavers. Zombies before then were people reanimated by dark magic religious rites, then the mythos flipped into virally infected people-eaters. Come join us for a shambling shuffle down Zombie history lane – from magically controlled servants to brain  -eating pandemic victim, and celebrate Zombie depictions in literature, media, and gaming.
