Join us to discuss the history of computational machines from the Sumerians to the 19th century. A distinguishing trait of human beings is that we make and use tools but does that go far enough? Many animals use tools. Maybe a better definition involves using computational tools and labor-saving devices, to help with advanced cognitive functions, such as computers. We will briefly discuss the development and use of computational devices, along with the development of mathematics. We will explore the ancient Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, and Europeans.

Blood on the Clocktower (GAMING)

Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception for five to twenty courageous players and one devious storyteller. During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower. As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realization slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day.
Can Good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?
(The game may break for opening Ceremonies)

Much like a favorite, beloved pirate, if you believe your “jar of dirt” helps, then it helps. Join maker and eclectic witch Jenn Dunigan of Archimedes Azure Creations, as she guides you to set an intention, and build your own “jar of dirt” or spell jar. Jenn will provide mini jars, corks, and a variety of fillers, but feel free to bring your own dried herbs, stone chips, or other ingredients to add to your mini jar.

As the years past the city was became a well-established and popular tourist destination. With the increasing population came with increasing crime and the development of super powers.
Now, decades later, a group of young heroes formed a team to protect the city. Step into the role of a new superhero as they try to understand who they are and what they will become. This is a roleplaying game with easy mechanics. It's a roleplaying heavy game with emphasis of building the story along with the GM.
