I’m planning to do a history on shanties, why they were useful for ships. I also would like to have some audience participation in sing-alongs and possible instrumental portions. Kid-friendly as much as possible, I know some fun kids versions of some shanties and nothing bawdy.

One of my favorite demonstrations as a fur trade reenactor is Native American Foods. We could touch, smell, and taste different food and drinks of the Americas. While the East India Company brought supplies and spices into the Americas, they never left with empty cargo ships.

An examination and exploration of lands once above water, but which are now submerged. The presentation ranges from the mythical to the actual, and from Atlantis to Zealandia.
