Make and Take: Hand Dyed Lace Flower Pin/Clip, $15/person

Join Jenn Dunigan of Archimedes Azure Creations to learn how she hand dyes vintage to modern lace, taking anything from scraps to several bolts of different shades, and uses several different Rit Dye techniques to achieve a full rainbow of colors. She will show you how to gather and hand stitch the lace down onto a base to create a gathered simple flower shape, and let you pick out your own button, bauble, or upcycled bit as a center. As a finishing touch, we will make your flower into a clip or pin. All materials will be provided with the class fee. Requires sewing with a sharp needle, and using a hot glue gun, so not recommended for under age 12, 13-15 accepted with adult supervision. Class Fee: $15 per person
