Splendid Obstacles Teapot Racing

Tim Davis and Captain QuaestorMain Stage

Yes, the rumors are true. Splendid Obstacles, in collaboration with the Chicagoland Steampunk Society, will host the teapot races at Teslacon 2026!

If you've raced before, Dust off that racer, glue those broken pieces back on, and charge up those batteries. Because it's on, baby!

Don't have a racer, but want to be a part of the chaos that is teapot racing? Easily done. Get yourself an RC vehicle and mount a teapot on it. Decorate it as you like. The internals must remain unaltered. Don't exceed 30cm in width, 30cm in height, and 40cm in length. Oversized racers will be permitted to race, but they may have points deducted and may have difficulty negotiating some obstacles.

See you at the races!
